Saturday, May 18 is World Fiddle Day
To celebrate the joy of fiddle music, head down to the Farmers' Market in Saskatoon. Bring your instrument and gather with musicians of all skill levels for a few fiddle tunes at 10:30 near the covered area outside. Tunes will be: Maple Sugar, Red Wing, Boil 'em Cabbages, Rubber Dolly and Joys of Quebec. Accompanists welcome!!
Wednesday Night Jams at D'Lish
Have you heard about these new jams happening at D'Lish? (3way corner, Landsdowne and Temperance) Every Wednesday there is a different theme, and the fourth Wednesday of the month (May 22), is an Old Time jam! Fun! Check out the poster here.
Saskatoon Bluegrass Society Jam
Don't miss out on the regular last Friday of the month jams with the SBS, held at the St. Paul's Nurses' Residence from 7 to 10 pm. Doors are only monitored until 715, so don't be late. Check out the SBS website for more details.
