Camp Group Jam on Friday night at Lydia's on Broadway, tunebook provided

Old Time Dance on Sat Jan 26 at the Cosmo Centre (614 11th Street, just off Broadway) featuring music by the instructors, 7:30 pm

Sunday Afternoon Final concert at Queen Elizabeth School, free admission to the public

Shivering Strings West Music Camp –
Always the last weekend in January

The Shivering Strings West Music Camp is a great weekend of musical fun and our 3rd Annual Camp will be held January 25-27, 2013.  The camp is modelled after the original Shivering Strings camp in Nova Scotia developed by Gordon Stobbe and is unique in its approach to old time fiddle music. 

Play More Tunes, Have More Fun
Students are provided with audio and print files of the class tunes in advance of the weekend which allows them to PRACTICE AHEAD OF TIME and to hit the ground running when they get to the camp. The instructors are then able to focus on orchestration and group dynamics, providing a richer and deeper learning opportunity for the students.
